   \u2022 School Medical Insurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

   \u2022 The Medical Council.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

   \u2022 New Centers of Thalassaemia promoted by Mrs. SUSAN MUBARAK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4-The Egyptian Red Crescent Society Centers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities For the Physicians <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Scientific Meetings.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support the development of Thalassemia Associations in different Governorates of Egypt<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participates in the training programs to the physician in the new thalassemic centers of Egypt.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sponsors regularly international conferences and workshops on thalassaemia in Egypt.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Population awareness of the disease through the mass media.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Printing Booklets on Thalassemia Diagnosis and Treatment Distributed to Doctors  in Different  Egyptian Governorates in 1996.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Training on Thalassemia Diagnosis and Management for the Doctors Responsible for Severe Thalassemia Centers in Cairo Ordered by Our First Lady Suzan Mubarak .<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Scientific Meeting on Thalassemia in El  Fayoum City.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Scientific meetings and promotion for the development of Thalassemia Centers in Zagazig & Benha, Cairo Hospitals, EL Fayoum, Helwan, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Activities For the Patients.   <\/strong>                             <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Improve the patients and parents awareness of the disease treatment and  prevention through booklets and meetings.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Financial and social support to the patients.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Help     in     the     prenatal     diagnosis     of thalassaemia for the pregnant mothers.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Regular financial and social support to the patients.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Participates in managing Thalassemics in the schools through the Medical Insurance<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Support all the different modalities of treatment (blood, vaccination, DFO pumps\u2026 etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Increases the awareness of the patients and their families to the disease and its treatment.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Participates in the management of thalassemic students of different Egyptian Governorates (MIS).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • It Participates in the Management of School Children suffering from Thalassemia through the Medical Insurance for Schools.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Establishing a Prenatal Diagnostic Center in Abou El Rish Hospital<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Continuous supply of the Desferal, syringes and butterfly needles.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Booklets   on  the  disease   and   its management.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
